Cycling for Our Health brought in $124,398!

Despite the exceptional circumstances this year, 26 teams and more than 160 participants responded to the call for this annual autumn rendez-vous, which marked the 21st edition of the event. Thanks to the generous donors and loyal sponsors of this fundraising activity, the campaign has been given new momentum to fund the acquisition of a second Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machine for the Saint-Jérôme Regional Hospital.

“Even if there was no starting bell this year, the solidarity was palpable among the cyclists and the teams,” said Chantale Fortin, Executive Director of the Foundation. “Each of the participants has a personal reason or motivation for taking part in Cycling for our Health, but we all have a common goal: to develop even better healthcare here at home, without having to send Laurentian residents to the city for medical care. The addition of a second MRI machine is exactly in line with our goals.”.

The site veloanotresante.com will remain open for donations until 30 September 2020.
