Benefiting seniors in CHSLDs and Maisons des Aînés

A flagship event of the Drapeau and Deschambault Foundation, the Mayors' Classic raises funds to provide services to senior residents of the Drapeau-Deschambault, Hubert-Maisonneuve, and Blainville CHSLDs, as well as the Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines and Blainville Maisons des Aînés. This year, the event's proceeds will be allocated to the pet therapy program aimed at combating physical, psychological, or emotional distress through the presence of animals. This well-being has positive effects on the elderly person's mood, cardiovascular, mental, and emotional health. Pet therapy is used to improve the residents' condition by stimulating non-verbal communication, sight, and touch.

Support from the Fondation de l'Hôpital régional de Saint-Jérôme

Once again, the Fondation de l’Hôpital régional de Saint-Jérôme is proud to support the organization of this 28th Mayors' Classic. Benefiting from a regional mandate serving the entire Laurentides, FHRSJ can thus enhance the impact of its charitable activities in its territory. This partnership aims to strengthen philanthropic impact by combining the resources, expertise, and network of both foundations to better serve and improve well-being in the MRC Thérèse-De Blainville community.
