$1,000,000 for Projects in 2020!

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Fondation de l’Hôpital régional de Saint-Jérôme was held on June 17. Exceptionally this year, the AGM was held virtually due to circumstances related to COVID-19. For several years now, the Foundation has taken advantage of this opportunity to visit various departments of the Hospital with the donors, partners and volunteers who honour us with their presence. This unique and privileged experience allows them to appreciate the importance and impact of a local donation on the improvement of ICI’s equipment and medical care. Due to the particular circumstances, the visit could not take place, much to everyone’s regret. The AGM was thus conducted in a simplified format, with the presentation of the Foundation’s annual report.

This is also an opportunity to highlight the projects, the benefits of our actions, the concrete impact of our decisions and to reveal the amount allocated for the year. Once again, $1 million has been allocated for projects in 2020.

Fondation de l’Hôpital régional de Saint-Jérôme’s mission

Our mission is to finance the purchase of medical equipment and to support programs at the hospital, CLSCs and CHSLDs in greater Saint-Jérôme.

In this period of turmoil, the importance of regional autonomy is very clear and access to local health care is at the heart of our daily lives. More than ever, citizens understand the importance of giving locally, and the Foundation and the 25 members of its Board of Directors are honoured to receive and manage donations diligently in order to contribute, in concrete terms, to limiting the need for Laurentian residents to travel to the city.

2019 Financial Report

The Foundation is in excellent financial health. The presentation of the financial reports has made it possible to demonstrate the stability of its shares, revenues, expenses and investments. The 2019 fiscal year, therefore, allows for an allocation of $1 million. While the year is well underway, projects have already taken off. To follow the projects in progress or see photos of completed projects, we invite you to visit our newly revamped website often. The year 2020 will mark the 30th anniversary of the Foundation, and to highlight this moment in history, we wanted to modernize our image with a new visual identity. The Foundation’s vitality is demonstrated by our updated logo and a more dynamic website designed to effectively reach all of our donors.
